DOUBLE HUNG

Double Hung

A double hung window features two operable sashes, the top and bottom, which can open for ventilation. It offers maximum circulation and tilting, allowing cleaning of both interior and exterior glass, particularly beneficial for upper story windows.

CASEMENT

Casement

A casement is a window with a hinge on one side that allows it to open outwardly for better airflow. It's attached to the frame and swings open, unlike sliding windows. Casement windows have lower air leakage rates and are ideal for natural ventilation.
