What is a Bay/Bow Window?

A bay window features a center picture window flanked by casement or double hung windows. Two operable windows can also replace the center picture window, and can vary in width. A bow window system can include all picture windows, or picture windows that are flanked by two operable windows. All windows in this system are the same size.
